History

In the recent years, electric bike ownership has soared.  Electric bikes are fun to ride and give people of all ages the ability to ride farther and on different types of terrain, to commute, to do errands, to ride with others with different riding abilities and to do so in an environmentally-friendly way.  Because there was not a dedicated eBike store within 30 miles of Mercer County, Princeton eBikes was established to provide a convenient location to test ride and purchase a variety of eBikes, as well as to provide excellent eBike service.

The second inspiration for Princeton eBikes has been the success of the Trenton Bike Exchange, which has sold over 31,000 bikes and raised more than $2.0 million for the after-school programs of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County.  Princeton eBikes and Biking for Environment & Health has adopted the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County to pass through funding in support of their health & wellness programs for Mercer County youth. Thus, in one purchase customers can own a quality electric bike supported by top notch service while making a significant contribution to the health & wellness needs of Trenton area youth.

Since our founding Princeton eBikes and Biking for Environment & Health has sent over $340,000 to the Boys & Girls Club.
